Beach Cleanup and Surf Camp

Family event in conjunction with the Great Huntington Valley Nation Indian Princesses and the Huntington State Beach Lifeguard Association.
We’ll start off with a 1 hour beach clean followed by open surfing, free BBQ lunch / raffle and a tribe vs tribe dodgeball tournament.
For those looking for activities for your kids this summer the Huntington Beach State Junior Lifeguards are currently conducting try-outs (see flyer).
- Free parking from 10:00 – 12:00pm (mention YMCA beach clean)
- Free raffle ticket (Volcom t-shirts, Black Flys sunglasses, Roxy, Surfrider schwag)
- Free BBQ lunch for all participants
- Free event patch
- Free use of soft-top surfboards and dodgeball equipment
- Lifeguard rescue demo
- 10-12 lifeguards will be on the beach and in the water promoting safety

1:30PM - 3:00PM Beach Games / Dad’d Dodgeball Tournament
Bolsa Chica State Beach is located on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach, California, between Golden West Street and Warner Avenue. Enter through gate turn right and proceed north about 1 mile to Tower 25. You’ll see a sign, banners, and flag.
Bring your boards, rash guards, wetsuits, Easy-ups, beach chairs, snacks (in needed), and Sunscreen!
What more do you need – Free day at the beach with family and friends….Watch dad get hit in the acorns with a dodgeball…I can’t wait! So rally the family, start getting the tribal dodgeball team together (8 players) and get ready for some fun.
