Beach Cleanup and Surf Fest
hosted by the Great Eagle Federation
Family event in conjunction with the Great Huntington Valley Nation Indian Princesses and the Huntington State Beach Lifeguard Association.
There will be a Beach Cleanup (us), ocean safety talk, body boarding and surfing (boards and in water assistance provided by HBSJG), lifeguard demo, lunch, games for the kids, and a big brave dodgeball tournament for the Federation Cup.
This is a FREE FAMILY event
- Free parking for beach cleanup participants
- Free raffle ticket (1 per participant)
- Free event patch
- TK Burgers’ truck will be there serving food and showing surf movies ($6 meal deal)

10:00AM - 11:00AM Beach Clean-Up
11:00AM - 12:30PM Open Surfing
12:30PM - 1:30PM Lunch / HB State Jr. Lifeguard Demo
1:30PM - 3:00PM Federation Cup Dad’s Dodgeball Tournament
Bolsa Chica State Beach is located on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach, California, between Golden West Street and Warner Avenue. Enter through gate turn right and proceed north about 1 mile to Tower 25. You’ll see a sign, banners, and flag.
Bring your boards, rash guards, wetsuits, Easy-ups, beach chairs, towels, beach toys, snacks, tribal T-Shirts (show your spirit) and Sunscreen!
Federation Cup Dodgeball Tournament
- Each tribe puts together a team of 10 players (you can use family members, and others if you’re short)
- Brackets determined by random draw - single elimination
- Perpetual trophy – Bragging rights for a whole year!
