TRAVEL TO/FROM THE ISLAND:
This year we will be leaving on the Catalina Flyer from Newport Beach at 12:00 noon on Friday, June 19th and returning on Sunday, June 21st (boat leaves Catalina at noon and arrives in Newport Beach around 1:30 PM).
We leave from the Balboa Pavilion at 400 Main St., Newport Beach which is located on the Balboa Peninsula (not Balboa Island).
FOOD:
Friday night dinner to Sunday breakfast is included.
TENT CABINS:
No tent cabins will be available this year.
FISHING LICENSE:
If you plan to fish, adults MUST have a fishing license or you may be fined. An adult fishing license is required for adults that help in any way with their sons fishing. If you touch the pole, you must have a license.

Catalina 2009 Indian Guides Fishing Derby

Bait will be available at the Seminole Camp on Friday Night & at the Dock On Saturday
Derby Start Time: Friday upon arrival (From Shore, Boat, etc…Except for Dock)
End Time: Saturday at 4PM - All Brave Entry’s must be received by 4PM (At the dock or Seminole Camp)
Dock Hours & Regulations
In order to avoid being restricted from dock use, please follow these guidelines
Saturday
AM: 8am - 12 noon
PM: 12:30pm - 4pm
*A Seminole Tribe Member will be on the dock during these hours:
A. Bait will be available at the dock
B. Brave Entry’s can be made at the dock (Or the Seminole Camp Site)
C. Assist with everyone vacating the dock when a boat arrives/departs
In pervious years the Indian Guides have been restricted from using the dock
….our goal is to keep the dock open for use the whole day since it is the easiest place to catch fish.

A. Age Group Grades Include: K, 1, 2, 3, Alumni

1. Longest fish
2. The most amount of fish caught (any size)
